KNT Impact

The ultimate measure of how well Kids-N-Technology® works is actual student performance. Kids-N-Technology® ’s goal is to make sure that all of its students are ready for the rigor of any post secondary experience. Achieving and maintaining this standard requires continuous assessment to evaluate program effectiveness.

To ensure that Kids-N-Technology® is delivering on the promises made to its partners, schools, students, and host communities. The assessment tool kit, designed by University of Missouri, will be used to evaluate program management, implementation, curriculum content, parent satisfaction, and student achievement.
Kids-N Technology’s staff will work closely with instructors and educational institutions to collect and analyze appropriate data. This data will be used to inform quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Each report will provide an overview of the curriculum, and consists of several key sections, including a description, youth development supports and opportunities, goals and standards, technology, evaluation strategies, topics covered, and structure of the program.

Before and after test will be administered and results will be posted as a group percentages to show progress.

At the end of the school term Kids-N-Technology® is optimistic that the assessment will show increasing numbers of middle school students with an increased interest in afterschool programs, and more students using technology academically, oppose to socially.

All results will be available for review and download from the Kids-N-Technology® website: www.kidsntechnology.net/assessment.
