Results...

• Since the summer of 2003, over 500 children (ages 8-18) have designed and built their own computer system.
• 20% of students who attend the Kids-N-Technology ®’s summer program improved academically by at least one letter grade after returning to school in the fall.
• Students that had been diagnosed as having Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD or ADHD), parents reported that they noticed improvement in their child’s attention span, less distractibility and significant decrease in hyperactive and impulsive behaviors, after building a computer.
• 25% of students who attended Kids-N-Technology® first summer camp in 2002 are now attending college.
• 85% of students who attended Kids-N-Technology ®’s Build Your Own PC Camp become more responsible and focused in their daily activities.
• 60% of middle school students who attended Kids-N-Technology® expressed interest in pursing a technology career.
